7 yo boy loves it. he can go down the street to friends house and come back at exact right time LOL.
It has hourly chime. he thinks it has a weather station who am I to say it is just blinking lights.
It has been in the pool and at the beach and is very tough.

My 10 year old son loves this watch
My 10 year old son originally wanted an analog watch but when he saw all of the features on this watch he wanted to give it a try. He loves that it has both analog and a digital display. He also uses the alarm on it to wake up for school and was able to figure out how to set the alarm on his own. I'm sure he also likes that he gets compliments on the style/color ( he got the blue one). I would definitely recommend for a child around his age that is interested in a watch.

My 9 year old loves this watch! I agree with two issues that have been brought up. With all the functions it is very difficult for a kid to set it- my son couldn't do it himself. Second, if you are setting the digital info, make sure you have lots of light to see the watch. The digital part is smallish, but big enough to read- just not quite for focusing and changing the info.
