Love it!!
I had one of these for ages and literally wore it out, it's definitely water tight , I never take it off. The only downside is that on both watches the little thing that holds the tail end of the strap has broken almost immediately. I just use little hair elastics instead. I'm a Potter and this takes serious punishment, it gets covered in clay and washed off constantly. I love it. I really like the light, at night I use it to see to get to the bathroom . It's bright!! The display is a great size. I also like the way the light color can be changed . My littles are fascinated by it!. Apart from the breaking of the little tail strap ( which to me is no big deal) I'm really pleased.

Don't buy
Before you read this understand one thing:  I rarely give positive reviews.  In fact I posted a scathing review of this very watch until something very bizarre happened.  I was contacted by Aimee from the Cofuo company regarding the brutal review I had posted on Amazon.  Here's the back story:  my daughter wanted a digital watch for Xmas and it had to be blue.  I found this watch on Amazon for a reasonable price, I bought it.  Xmas day she opens the watch box, loves it, stats pressing all the buttons.  10 minutes later she brings the watch to me, the button that operates the backlight fell off.  I get pissed, curse the very existence of the Cofuo watch company and immediately post a review negging the crap of what I have come to find is a very honorable company.
Last week I got an email apologizing for the experience I had, they offered to send me a new watch, FREE and I didn't have to send back the broken one.  Mind you I had never contacted Kofuo or even Amazon for that matter regarding this matter.  I just chalked it up as a loss, can't win every time, am I right?  It was only $20, I said to myself, don't be such a whiny ass bitch I said to myself.  Now upon reading this you may say to yourself, self this must be a paid corporate shill, no one would ever spend this much time writing such a long winded review of a $20 watch.  I would think the same thing, if I had bothered to read a review this long, but there's no way in hell I would ever read a review this long, I ain't got time for that!!!  The reason I took the time to write a review this long is because Aimee took the time to investigate this matter.  She did the honorable thing so I, in turn am doing the honorable thing by posting a retraction.  I don't know if any American companies who would go out of their way like this, well one Chinese company did and I applaud them.

Good Quality at a Great Price
We bought this watch for our daughter's 9th birthday. At first, just from looking at the picture online, I was thinking it would be more like a toy watch that she'd wear once and forget about it. When it arrived, I was surprisingly mistaken. This is a pretty neat watch for a child. My older daughter, who is 13, was trying to keep "borrowing" it from her little sister. The band isn't cheap like I originally thought and the reading of the time really stands out. You can also change the background color - which is pretty sweet.

You'll need to spend a minute in the instructions just to familiarize yourself with how to navigate and adjust the time, etc. That's probably the only thing about the watch that might be a little frustrating. My daughter wasn't able to really figure it out herself, so I helped with that. It really does look adorable, feels to be more quality than you'd expect for the price, hands down. I'm happy with this purchase, as is my daughter. No need to go for some fancy name brand - you can't lose with this watch. Even if your kiddo doesn't digg it - you're not breaking the bank to pick one up.

Cute watch.
I bought this watch for myself. I can see a young child wearing this. The face may be a bit large but I think it is cool. The red is not a typical red. It is more of a coral red. I plan to buy more in different colors.

NOTE: if you want to turn off the alarm, press the 2 RIGHT buttons together.

How can I stop the hourly beep?
TO STOP/START THE HOURLY CHIME
In Normal Time Mode, hold the RESET (bottom right button) AND THEN press the MODE button (bottom left) to toggle the hourly chime on and off. When all the days of the week are displayed, the hourly chime is on.

Just found out how to change the color in the light mode.
-hold the left (upper button) and then press the bottom right button. You can even make it rainbow flash!!!

Great watch!
My kids love having their own watch! They love having an alarm, light that changes colors, the date and day of the week, but they especially love the timer feature and love to time themselves doing everyday tasks. The band tightened to the lowest hole fits my 6 and 9 year old. I hope this lasts a long time because I never knew something so simple could bring such excitement to my kids!

Looks great and has cool features
Nice design and color options. Kids may pick bulkier watches, but I like that this watch looks nicer than most (if not all) with similar features.
Also it's cool that the band has double fastener, which pretty securely holds the long end of the band and prevents it from opening up even during utmost action.
My son tested that this watch is water resistant :)

Cute watch
It’s super cute. Large face. I was a bit disappointed at first because my daughter wanted the pink backlight. I came here to post a review on my disappointment but learned that you can change the color of the backlight by holding button “A” (top left) down for three seconds. She hasn’t had a chance to wear it yet but I will adjust my rating according over the next few days.

Edited to give 5 stars. My four year old loves this watch — she wears it everyday. It’s just a tad too big hit that’s ok! She doesn’t mind.
