I have owned this watch for a couple years now and would like to share my impressions of it. I have a 4x watch collection right now. This SKX, and Seiko Sarb033, a G-shock square, and a Rolex Submariner 114060. I cleared out a lot of my collection to make room for the Rolex, but intentionally kept this SKX in
the rotation.

Overall I think the SKX is an outstanding tool watch that is incredibly versatile and well made. The price makes it a must own for anyone new to the watch community or looking for a rugged tool watch with a dive rating. I originally bought it as a stepping stone while I saved for my Submariner and I reflect that it was indeed the right approach for me. I have found that the SKX is a keeper and very unique in its own right.
You'll see a lot of people buy this watch and put it on a nato strap and I agree it works great with that kind of strap. I also really have grown to like the jubilee bracelet. The jubilee feels cheap, but it is incredibly comfortable. I wear it on the jubilee most days unless I am out in the field and doing a lot of manual tasks.
I certainly acknowledge that the Submariner is superior watch in almost every respect, but I still wear my SKX far more often than the Sub. bottom line is that the SKX deserves a spot in your collection and it would be an excellent option for a one watch collection. It punches far above its price point.
